Compassion Ministry Representatives Homeless Breakfast Ministry - Each month, the Homeless Breakfast ministry gathers to prepare and serve food to the homeless. Our goal is to build decent, safe and affordable homes to raise our Habitat families. In just one generation of owning a home, they are getting better jobs, pursuing higher education, planning for their future and giving back to their communities. Project Response - Four times a year parishioners of St. Max are invited to contibute a variety of items needed by those in need. The items collected are picked up by as many as 21 local charities and distributed to those in need. The Pope, our faith and the Bible are explicit that God creates all life and that life begins at conception and ends at a natural death. We currently provide turkeys at Thanksgiving and Christmas gifts to more than 550 children at Christmas as well as donations of food and school supplies throughout the year.

Teams from our parish make personal visits to assess needs, make referrals and provide immediate assistance in some cases. Our mission, inspired by Blessed Frederic Ozanam and our Patron, St. Vincent dePaul, is an organization where women and men grow spiritually by offering person-to-person assistance to those in need.
