Homeless Breakfast Ministry - Each month, the Homeless Breakfast ministry gathers to prepare and serve food to the homeless. Many friendships have grown out of the experience of sharing in this form of care for God's people. Contact Sally Holland (805) 492-4879. Click here for our latest newsletter.Prayer Shawl Ministry -Our mission is to bring comfort to Parish members and their families during difficult times. We endeavor to do this by knitting and crocheting shawls, lap blankets, prayer squares and bracelets. As we create we pray. Once the creation is complete, it is blessed by Father Jarlath and delivered by a ministry member. Our ministry was established in May 2011 and we have already provided dozens of items for parishoners in need. The items collected are picked up by as many as 21 local charities and distributed to those in need. We currently provide turkeys at Thanksgiving and Christmas gifts to more than 550 children at Christmas as well as donations of food and school supplies throughout the year. See the bulletin for donation information.St. Vincent de Paul Society - The St. Vincent de Paul conference provides both financial and material support for individuals and families experiencing difficult times.
