First Communion for children involves a two year process involving the family participating in Elementary Faith Formation classes. Children grades 2-8, who are already Baptized receive their First Reconciliation and First Communion at the end of the two year process.
High School Teens who have not received their First Communion will prepare for both First Communion and Confirmation. High School Confirmation.
The sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation are sacraments of initiation as we become members of the Catholic Church. RCIA is the process in which adults prepare to be fully initiated into the Catholic Church.
